The last 20 Israeli hostages held by Hamas have returned home after more than two years in captivity. The Israeli military confirmed their release as emotional reunions took place, including twin brothers Ziv and Gali Berman and Omri Miran, who embraced his wife Lishay. In return, Israel is freeing 250 Palestinian prisoners and 1,700 detainees, with the first groups arriving in Ramallah and Gaza. Former U.S. President Donald Trump, visiting Israel, told parliament that the “war is over” in Gaza. He will travel next to Egypt for a peace summit with global leaders to discuss future steps.
