US President Donald Trump has raised tariffs on Canadian goods by 10% after a Canadian province aired an anti-tariff ad using Ronald Reagan’s old speech. The ad, shown during the World Series, used Reagan’s words saying tariffs “hurt every American.” Trump called the ad a “fraud” and said it should have been removed. Ontario’s leader said he would pause the ad campaign but let it run in the US over the weekend. Canada’s trade minister said talks with the US would continue.
