US President Donald Trump praised Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir, calling them “great people.” Speaking in Kuala Lumpur after mediating a peace deal between Thailand and Cambodia, Trump said he would soon help resolve the ongoing Pakistan-Afghanistan conflict. He claimed his administration has ended eight wars in eight months, adding, “We’re averaging one a month.” Trump said he believes he can bring peace between Pakistan and Afghanistan quickly.
