A Delhi University student was injured in an acid attack near Lakshmibai College on Sunday morning. Police said the second-year student was attacked around 10 am by an unidentified man who threw a flammable substance at her. She managed to protect her face but suffered burns on her hand. The victim is being treated at RML Hospital and is expected to recover soon. Police believe the attacker knew the victim, as both live in Mukundpur. Several teams have been formed to find and arrest the suspect. Raids are ongoing in different parts of Delhi. (PC: India Today)
