India’s ODI vice-captain Shreyas Iyer has been admitted to the ICU in a Sydney hospital after suffering internal bleeding from a rib injury. The incident happened during the third ODI against Australia when Iyer took a catch to dismiss Alex Carey. He was rushed to the hospital after complaining of pain and breathing discomfort. Doctors confirmed internal bleeding, and he will remain under observation for up to a week. The BCCI medical team acted quickly after his condition worsened in the dressing room.
