Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing attack on a Doncaster-London train on Saturday evening. Police said the incident does not appear to be terror-related. The 18:25 LNER service was diverted to Huntingdon after passengers called police around 19:40 GMT. Armed officers boarded the train and detained the suspects. Nine people were injured, with two still in life-threatening condition and four already discharged from hospital. Eyewitnesses reported chaos on board, with one man shouting “they’ve got a knife” as passengers fled. Police continue to investigate the motive. (PC: BBC)
