India are close to victory in the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 final against South Africa in Navi Mumbai. Deepti Sharma and Shafali Verma shared three wickets, putting India in full control. South Africa are five down while chasing 299 runs. Earlier, Shafali scored a brilliant 87, while Deepti added a quick 58 to guide India to 298 for 7. Richa Ghosh’s late cameo of 34 off 24 balls gave the innings a strong finish. Jemimah Rodrigues and Harmanpreet Kaur contributed small but crucial runs.
