India are just two wickets away from winning the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 final against South Africa in Navi Mumbai. South Africa, chasing 299, are eight down after captain Laura Wolvaardt was dismissed for a brilliant century. Deepti Sharma took four wickets and earlier scored 58 runs to guide India to 298 for 7. Shafali Verma top-scored with 87, while Richa Ghosh added a quick 34. Despite Wolvaardt’s fight, South Africa now face a tough task needing 78 runs with only two wickets left.
