A Canadian cinema in Oakville, Ontario has suspended screenings of Indian films following two violent attacks in one week. Film.ca Cinemas was first targeted on September 25 when two masked individuals used flammable liquid to ignite fires at the theatre's entrance around 5:20 am, causing moderate exterior damage. Security footage captured a grey SUV conducting surveillance before the arson. Seven days later, on October 2, a gunman fired multiple rounds at the entrance doors at 1:50 am. The theatre subsequently cancelled showings of Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 and They Call Him OG. While Halton police haven't officially confirmed motives, reports suggest potential connections to Khalistani extremists targeting Indian cinema. (PC: Trip Advisor, Pinterest & IMDB)
