At least six people were killed and several others injured after a passenger train hit a stationary goods train in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur district on Tuesday. The crash happened near Lal Khadan on the Bilaspur–Katni route when the Korba passenger train overshot a signal. The impact derailed several coaches and damaged wires and signals, stopping train services. Rescue and medical teams rushed to the site to help passengers.
