Super Typhoon Fung-wong hit the eastern coast of the Philippines on Sunday, forcing nearly one million people to leave their homes. The storm brought strong winds, heavy rain, and power cuts across several provinces. Defence Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr warned that Manila and Cebu could also be affected. The country is still recovering from Typhoon Kalmaegi, which killed over 200 people earlier this week. More than 30 million people may face danger from the storm. Around 400 flights were cancelled.
