3 people died and 15 were injured after powerful waves struck Tenerife, Spain, in the Canary Islands on Sunday. A woman died after being swept into the sea at Puerto de la Cruz, while two men were found dead at beaches in Santa Cruz and Granadilla. Ten others were pulled into the ocean, and three remain seriously injured. Rescue teams airlifted several victims, but one later died in hospital. Authorities in Spain have urged people to stay away from the coast and avoid taking photos or videos near the waves.
