The first picture of Dr Umar Mohammad, suspected suicide bomber in the Delhi Red Fort blast, has emerged. Born in Pulwama on February 24, 1989, Umar was employed at Al Falah Medical College and owned the white Hyundai i20 that exploded Monday evening, killing nine and injuring 20. He was a close aide of arrested doctors Adeel Ahmad Rather and Mujammil Shakil from the busted "white collar" terror module. After learning of their arrests and the 2,900 kg explosives seizure, Umar reportedly panicked. CCTV footage shows his car entering Delhi via Badarpur border, parked near Red Fort for three hours (3:19-6:30 PM). He never left the vehicle before detonating ANFO explosives. (PC: India Today)
