Security agencies have arrested Dr Shaheen Saeed, a doctor from Uttar Pradesh, for funding and aiding a terror network linked to the Delhi Red Fort blast. Investigators say she used her medical background and NGO networks to move money secretly. Shaheen was associated with Dr Umar, suspected to have driven the car that exploded near Red Fort, killing twelve people. She also had close ties with key accused Muzammil. Officials believe she arranged Rs 35–40 lakh for the group. Sources say she was part of a Jaish-e-Mohammed plan to build a women’s recruitment and psychological warfare wing in India. (PC: News18)
