Dr Umar Un Nabi, the main suspect in the Delhi Red Fort car blast, was earlier dismissed from a Jammu and Kashmir hospital for negligence that led to a patient’s death. Nabi, once a senior resident at Government Medical College, Anantnag, was accused of being absent during a critical patient’s treatment. A hospital inquiry committee, led by senior doctors, confirmed his misconduct and recommended his termination. Investigators believe Nabi was driving the car that exploded near Red Fort, killing at least ten people. His DNA is being matched with samples from the blast site to confirm his identity. (PC: X)
