Investigators revealed a five-phase terror plot targeting Delhi with coordinated bombings across six to seven locations. The module, linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, procured raw materials from Nuh and Gurugram, manufactured chemical IEDs, and conducted reconnaissance of targets. Originally planned for August, the attack was rescheduled for December 6 marking the Babri Masjid demolition anniversary. Jaish chief Masood Azhar has repeatedly threatened revenge for the 1992 demolition. The plot unraveled when 2,900 kg of ammonium nitrate was recovered during Faridabad raids. Dr Umar Mohammed allegedly panicked after associates' arrests, detonating explosives prematurely near Red Fort, killing nine and injuring over 20. The module comprised highly educated professionals.
