Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) conducted searches at arrested Hyderabad doctor Ahmed Mohiuddin Saiyed's residence, which doubled as a "workshop," seizing unidentified chemicals and raw materials. The 35-year-old doctor is the main accused in an alleged bio-terror plot involving Ricin, a lethal toxin. Gujarat ATS claimed Sunday that Dr Saiyed was part of a suspected terror module allegedly preparing Ricin for large-scale attacks. Cyberabad police observed as ATS teams removed cartons containing substances from the Rajendranagar flat. The seized materials will be sent to Forensic Science Laboratory for testing to determine their composition and potential use in terror activities. The investigation continues into the alleged bio-terror conspiracy. (PC: The Hindu & The Indian Express)
