A basic trainer aircraft of the Indian Air Force, the Pilatus PC‑7, crashed on a routine training sortie near Tambaram in Chennai’s Chengalpattu district on 14 November 2025. The pilot successfully ejected and is reported to be safe. Emergency teams reached the site after debris from the aircraft was spotted. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered by the IAF to determine the cause, though the exact crash location and extent of damage are yet to be disclosed. (PC: PTI)
