The Jan Suraaj Party, founded by Prashant Kishor, failed to win any seat in the Bihar election. Party president Uday Singh said Prashant Kishor will continue working in Bihar and will not quit politics. He said, “We didn’t enter politics at anyone’s order, and we won’t leave because of anyone.” Singh blamed the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government’s “cash distribution” scheme for the NDA’s big win. He said the party is “not disheartened” and will keep working for “Bihar badlav”. The NDA won 202 seats, while Jan Suraaj could not open its account. (PC: X)
