Rohini Acharya, daughter of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, has quit politics and cut ties with her family. She said Tejashwi Yadav’s two close aides abused her, insulted her, and even tried to hit her with a slipper. In emotional posts, she said she left her parents and sisters because she refused to give up her self-respect. She accused aides Sanjay Yadav and Rameez of ruining the party and forcing her out. She said they “tore her away” from her home. The RJD suffered a major defeat in the Bihar election. BJP leaders criticised the Yadav family after her exit. (PC: India Today)
