Thousands of people marched in Mexico City to protest against rising violent crime and President Claudia Sheinbaum’s government. The rally, led by Gen Z groups, was sparked by recent killings, including the murder of Uruapan Mayor Carlos Manzo. Police said 120 people were injured, including 100 officers, after clashes turned violent. Protesters broke parts of the barrier around the National Palace, and police used tear gas to push back crowds. Twenty people were arrested for assault and robbery.
