The NIA has arrested Amir Rashid Ali, a resident of Samboora in Jammu and Kashmir, for helping plan the Red Fort car blast in Delhi. The attack on November 10 killed 10 people. The Hyundai i20 used in the blast was registered in Ali’s name. Investigators say he came to Delhi to help buy the car and worked with suicide bomber Dr Umar Un Nabi to carry out the attack. Umar, a professor at Al Falah University, died in the explosion. The NIA is checking CCTV footage and tracking calls as it searches for more people linked to the larger plot. (PC: NDTV)
