Prashant Kishor took full responsibility after his Jan Suraaj Party failed to win any seat in the Bihar election. The party contested 238 seats but won none, getting only 3.44% votes. In many seats, it polled fewer votes than NOTA. Kishor said his team tried honestly but could not win people’s trust. He said he failed to explain why voters should support a new system. As atonement, he will observe a silent fast on November 20. Despite the setback, he said he will work harder and continue his mission to improve Bihar. (PC: India Today)
