Smriti Mandhana postponed her wedding after her father, Shrinivas Mandhana, suffered symptoms similar to a heart attack on Sunday. He felt sudden chest pain and was taken to Sarvhit Hospital in Sangli. Doctors said his cardiac enzymes were slightly high, and he needs round-the-clock monitoring. An angiography may be required. His condition is stable but under observation. The doctor said stress from the busy wedding preparations may have caused the symptoms.
