US President Donald Trump criticised Ukraine and the European Union on Sunday as peace talks continued in Geneva over his 28-point plan to end the Ukraine-Russia war. Trump said Ukraine had shown “zero gratitude” for US support and accused the EU of still trading with Russia. His remarks came after reports that Ukraine wants changes in the plan, which includes concessions Kyiv has long rejected. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine is working on “doable solutions” that protect its national interests. Trump claimed he inherited a war caused by weak leadership and said the conflict should never have happened. Ukraine said discussions with the US are ongoing.
