Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana has postponed her wedding to music composer Palash Muchhal after her father, Srinivas Mandhana, fell ill on Sunday. He complained of left-side chest pain during breakfast and was rushed to Sarvhit Hospital in Sangli. Doctors said he showed symptoms of a heart attack and needs close monitoring, ECG checks, and possibly an angiography. His cardiac enzymes were slightly high, and his blood pressure was elevated. Smriti’s manager said she refused to continue with the wedding during a medical emergency. The couple’s celebrations had begun with Mehendi, Haldi and Sangeet events attended by her India teammates.
