Actor Celina Jaitly has appealed to the Indian government to help bring back her brother, Major (Retd.) Vikrant Kumar Jaitly, who has been detained in the UAE since 2024. In an emotional post, she said he was first held without contact for eight months and has been in custody for over 440 days. She highlighted his service in the Indian Army’s 3 Para Special Forces and said he suffers from injuries from his duty. The Delhi High Court has asked the Ministry of External Affairs to give legal help and appoint a nodal officer. The next hearing is on December 4. (PC: X)
