Bollywood is mourning the death of veteran actor Dharmendra, who died at 89 on Monday in Mumbai. He was cremated at the Pawan Hans crematorium. Dharmendra is survived by his wives, Prakash Kaur and Hema Malini, and six children. Filmmaker Karan Johar called it “the end of an era” and said Dharmendra “will always be a bonafide legend.” Kareena Kapoor and Kiara Advani shared old photos with heart emojis. Director Madhur Bhandarkar wrote that Dharmendra was “vibrant and full of humour” and said his death marks “the end of an era in Indian cinema.” His last film, Ikkis, releases next month. (PC: X)
