Two suicide bombers attacked the Federal Constabulary headquarters in Peshawar on Monday, killing three security officials and injuring at least 12 people. Police said the attackers were armed and tried to storm the high-security complex but were shot dead at the gate. Witnesses reported two loud blasts around 8:10am. The area was quickly sealed and rescue teams reached the spot. Officials said five officers and seven civilians were among the injured. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called it a “foiled terrorist plot” and ordered a full investigation. No group has claimed responsibility, though similar attacks have occurred in the region.
