Investigators say Umar Un Nabi, the suicide bomber who carried out the Delhi car blast near Red Fort, called himself the “emir” of a white collar terror module. Umar, a highly educated doctor who knew nine languages, reportedly projected himself as the leader and guided other members. He was recruited through a Jaish-e-Mohammed contact. Arrested suspects told police that Umar pushed the group to act, claiming Muslims in India faced danger. He made the explosive device himself and tested chemicals in his room. The blast in Chandni Chowk killed 15 people. Police recovered several bomb-making items during the probe.
