Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has arrived in the United States after being captured during US strikes on Venezuela, according to American media reports. Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, were flown to New York’s Stewart Air National Guard Base and later taken to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. President Donald Trump earlier shared an image showing Maduro blindfolded on a US Navy ship. Trump said the United States would run Venezuela for a period to ensure a safe transition.
