At least 30 people were killed after armed gunmen attacked a village in northern Nigeria. The attack took place on Saturday evening in Kasuwan-Daji village in Niger state. The assailants fired at residents without warning. They also burned the local market and several houses. Many villagers were abducted, including women and children. Police said security forces were sent to the area. However, residents said no help had arrived. Locals claimed the death toll may be higher, with several people still missing.
