US President Donald Trump warned Colombian President Gustavo Petro after the capture of Nicolás Maduro. Trump told reporters that Petro should “watch his a**”, accusing him of allowing cocaine production linked to the US drug trade. Petro criticised US military action in Venezuela, calling it an attack on regional sovereignty. Trump said the US will temporarily control Venezuela and warned of more military action if needed.
