US President Donald Trump has rejected any idea of a mission to seize Russian leader Vladimir Putin. He was reacting to remarks by Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky after the US captured Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro. Zelensky had hinted that Putin could be “next”. Trump told reporters, “I don’t think it’s going to be necessary,” and said he had “always had a great relationship” with Putin. Speaking to oil and gas executives, Trump said he was “very disappointed” the Ukraine war was still on. He added that many lives were being lost each month. Putin is under an International Criminal Court warrant over alleged war crimes in Ukraine. (PC: HT)
