Police have registered an FIR against two builders after a 27-year-old software engineer died when his car fell into a water-filled construction site in Greater Noida. The incident occurred early Saturday in Sector 150, when the car broke through a drain boundary wall and plunged into a flooded basement of an under-construction mall. The victim, Yuvraj Mehta, worked in Gurugram. The builders have been booked under culpable homicide and negligence sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Police said low visibility and speeding may have caused the crash. Teams from the National Disaster Response Force assisted in the rescue operation, and the body was recovered after several hours.
