India head coach Gautam Gambhir was seen laughing as Abhishek Sharma delivered a pep talk during training before the T20 World Cup Super 8 match against South Africa in Ahmedabad. Abhishek, yet to score in the tournament, said he only wanted to lift the team’s mood. “Just going to motivate the guys. Just going to keep the momentum. I hope it helps,” he said. He asked teammates to enjoy each other’s performances and keep the energy high.
