Oil tanker Aqua Titan carrying Russian crude reached Mangaluru port on Saturday evening. The vessel was earlier heading to China. It is the first of seven tankers now arriving in India. A Bloomberg report said at least seven ships changed course towards India. These tankers were initially bound for China. Ship-tracking firm Vortexa monitored the movement. The shift comes as India looks to secure energy supplies during disruptions linked to the Iran war. New Delhi also received a temporary US waiver. This allows it to buy Russian oil that is currently stranded at sea. Officials have not shared details on further deliveries yet. (PC: India Today)
