Vijaypat Singhania, former chairman of the Raymond Group, passed away peacefully in Mumbai at 87, his family confirmed. His son, Gautam Singhania, who currently leads the company, shared the news on social media and announced that last rites will be held on Sunday in Mumbai. Singhania was a Padma Bhushan awardee, widely respected for transforming Raymond into a leading textile and apparel brand over two decades.
