The United States is preparing to deploy its long-range JASSM-ER missile as the war with Iran intensifies. The move comes after the loss of two US aircraft in Iranian airspace. US President Donald Trump had earlier warned of strong action against Iran. Reports said nearly the full stock of these missiles is being repositioned for possible strikes. The JASSM-ER can hit targets over 900 km away and avoid air defences. US forces have already used more than 1,000 such missiles in the conflict.
