The Manipur government has suspended mobile internet for three days in five districts after two children were killed in a blast in Bishnupur. The attack took place in Moirang when an explosive hit a house at night. The children died, and their mother was injured. The incident led to protests and violence. Mobs burned fuel tankers and damaged property. Security forces fired and used smoke to control crowds. At least 19 people were injured, and one person died. Curfew was imposed in Bishnupur.
