Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned it will respond if Israeli attacks on Lebanon continue. State media said the response would be “regret-inducing.” The warning came as Israeli strikes hit areas near Tyre in southern Lebanon. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Lebanon is not part of the current ceasefire deal. The US also said the truce with Iran does not cover Israel’s conflict with Hezbollah.
