The Israel Defense Forces said it killed Ali Yusuf Harshi, an aide to Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem, in a strike in Beirut. The Israeli military said Harshi was the personal secretary and nephew of the Hezbollah leader. It said he helped manage his office and security. The Hezbollah group said it fired rockets at northern Israel. The group said the attack was a response to Israeli strikes in Lebanon.
