At least ten tourists from Punjab died after a boat carrying 30 people capsized in the Yamuna River near KC Ghat in Vrindavan. The group from Ludhiana had hired two boats when one overturned around 3 PM, reportedly after swaying in strong winds and colliding with a pontoon bridge. Authorities confirmed recovery of ten bodies, while 16–17 people were rescued. Rescue operations involving divers and an National Disaster Response Force team are ongoing.
