Veteran singer Asha Bhosle has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle confirmed the update on social media. She said the 92-year-old is being treated for “extreme exhaustion” and a chest infection. “Treatment is ongoing and hopefully everything will be well,” Zanai wrote. She also asked for privacy. Hospital sources said the singer had respiratory issues and is under close watch. Asha Bhosle is one of India’s most respected singers with a long career in music and films. (PC: HT)
