Delhi is likely to see very hot weather next week as temperatures rise steadily. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the maximum temperature may reach 40°C by midweek and 41°C by Friday. Experts say clear skies and dry winds are causing the heat. Heatwave-like conditions may develop if temperatures rise further. Minimum temperatures are also expected to increase. Many other states may also face extreme heat in the coming days. Air quality in Delhi may worsen from “moderate” to “poor.” Officials have advised people to stay safe and avoid heat exposure as summer conditions begin to intensify across north India. (PC: PTI)
