Israel said talks with Lebanon leaders will take place today, according to an Israeli minister. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to speak with President Joseph Aoun. Lebanon had earlier raised doubts about the plan after Donald Trump said talks would happen. Trump wrote he was “trying to get a little breathing room”. Meanwhile, Israeli strikes continued in southern Lebanon, with new warnings issued to residents. Hezbollah said it fired rockets at Israel.
