Israel carried out air strikes that destroyed a key bridge linking southern Lebanon with the rest of the country. Lebanese state media said the Qasmiyeh bridge was hit in two attacks. Israel said it was targeting Hezbollah. The strike cuts a major route in the south as fighting continues. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to hold talks with President Joseph Aoun. Lebanon earlier questioned plans for the talks. Damage across southern Lebanon has increased as strikes and clashes continue.
