A minor ground collision occurred at Indira Gandhi International Airport when a SpiceJet aircraft struck a stationary Akasa Air plane on April 16. The incident took place around 2:15 pm near Terminal 1 while both aircraft were taxiing. The SpiceJet plane’s winglet hit the tail section of the Akasa aircraft, causing visible damage to both jets. No injuries were reported, and passengers and crew were safely disembarked. Both aircraft have been grounded, and aviation authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
