A deadly shooting in Kyiv left at least six people dead after a gunman opened fire on civilians before taking hostages inside a supermarket. The attacker, a 58-year-old man reportedly born in Moscow, first shot pedestrians in the Holosiivskyi district, killing several and injuring over a dozen people, including a child. He then barricaded himself inside a store, where one hostage was killed during the standoff. Ukrainian police launched a special operation and shot the gunman dead after failed negotiations. Authorities are investigating the incident as a possible terrorist act, with the motive still unclear. (PC: Reuters)
