13 Killed in Kerala Fireworks Blast, CM Says “All Medical Help Will Be Provided”

At least 13 people were killed and over 40 injured in a blast at a fireworks unit in Thrissur, Kerala. The explosion happened in Mundathikode on Tuesday afternoon. Officials said summer heat and dry land may have worsened the fire. “Further explosions are possible,” a fire officer warned. Rescue teams rushed to the spot, and the injured were taken to hospitals. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said, “All medical help will be provided.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi expressed grief over the loss of lives.
